TRYX – a name that somehow brings to mind energy drinks or inexpensive gaming mice. But this time it’s about an all-in-one water cooling system with a 360 mm radiator and plenty of ARGB. According to the marketing department, the Panorama 360 ARGB is supposed to combine “design with performance”. Sure – that’s what they all say. So: open the packaging, apply the paste and let’s see whether the thing just flashes or actually cools.
packaging and scope of delivery
The first glance at the packaging makes it clear that subtlety was definitely not on the design brief here. The design literally screams “GAMER!” – big, colorful and uncompromisingly eye-catching. The double packaging ensures that the real star, the 360° display, is presented directly in the right light. All the important technical details can be found on the back, as befits a product of this class.
Inside, a system of several cardboard inserts ensures order and stability, while at the same time serving as shock absorbers for transportation in the classic way. The radiator with pre-assembled fan, the accessories and all attachments are individually packed in plastic film, as is now customary. Sustainability therefore plays more of a secondary role here.
TRYX provides an accessory package that covers the basic requirements with ease and scores points with a few well thought-out extras. The workmanship is functional overall: the solid metal backplate makes a stable impression and ensures a secure hold on the mainboard. Only the screws would have required a little more care, as the workmanship appears rough in places. The supplied ARGB control unit is particularly positive and offers real added value, especially for users without a 5V ARGB-capable mainboard.
Assembly and installation
Those who rely on AM5 can breathe a sigh of relief when installing an AiO cooler. Instead of fiddling around with a separate backplate, TRYX uses the existing AMD retention module. The two plastic mounting brackets are simply screwed onto the mainboard and the pump head then sits directly on top. No special tools, no cursing – the whole thing is done in just a few minutes and sits bombproof.
