Installation report
In principle, the installation went completely smoothly and very comfortably. The fact that the casing can practically be completely disassembled makes it very easy to reach everywhere. Because of the unusual setup and the vertical arrangement, I had to briefly think about how best to route which cables or how to align the fans at some corners, but in the end everything worked well.
The following components should move into the tower:
The power supply unit made the start. You rarely see so much space.
In the second step, the mainboard moved in. CPU, RAM, SSD and backplate for the AIO had of course already been installed before.
Speaking of AIO! I do have one point of criticism here, which actually made me really fussy for a moment. If a 360mm radiator is to be installed, the included rails have to be mounted on edge in the case. By the time I had properly “rotated” them to meet the designated screw holes without conflicting with the AIO’s venting, I had probably also connected the radiator and fan together once in all possible combinations. And in the end, the hose was a bit too much on tension for me.
Which is why I then turned the AIO over again and tried all combinations again :-D. The yellow cable ties are intentional and should fit the Batman theme, but are possibly a bit “over”.
To force the intake of fresh air a bit, I mounted another 120 Toughfan under each half of the double bottom.
A further in the lid is supposed to transport the rising waste heat of the MOSFETs out of the case and this is how the result looks after the graphics card, the optional LCD display and Batman have also moved in.
Power on..
Not as humid as the Batcave, but almost as dark due to the lack of RGB.
Finally, the complete setup for this test report:
