The MoreClockTool (MCT)
Small program, big impact. The usage is virtually self-explanatory and we have also largely oriented the positioning of the controls to the MPT. I will also explain these briefly.
Command buttons
The dropdown combo for selecting the respective graphics adapter is nothing new and is also based on the MPT. The “Set” button transfers the changes directly and in real time to the system, “Reset” then undoes the whole thing and re-enters the factory defaults. With “Load” and “Save” you can save and load the settings, so that you can also save and use multiple profiles. The highlight here is that you can also load the Wattman profiles you have already created and experiment in Wattman with your profiles saved here if necessary. The “Exit” button, on the other hand, certainly does not need to be described.
Frequency Min / Max (MHz)
We let you set the frequencies numerically, bypassing the percentage setting popularly used in Wattman and hated by users, which confuses rather than helps. The range of the frequency ranges upwards can optionally be changed beforehand in the MPT (beware of the safe mode!)
Voltage (mV)
Here the voltage can be limited upwards. The VF curve can be defined beforehand in the MPT, as well as the range of the voltage specification upwards (when increasing above the factory limit, then beware of the safe mode!)
GPU power (%)
Here the stored TGP can be increased once again by a percentage value, the maximum of which could also be changed via the MPT. However, we generally recommend increasing the TGP and TDC directly in the MPT, because then the annoying Safe Mode does not take effect. The GPU power setting is more or less to be understood as a small readjustment in real time.
Memory Fast Timing Level
The setting is analogous to the Wattman. For further memory settings you have to use the MPT and the RBE as usual.
Fan
The setting of the fans is also analogous to the Wattman. For further settings and Tjunction as a basis please use the MPT, because these changes can be read out only at the computer start and they are not changeable in real time
VGA Device Manager Freeware
There are too many entries for your graphics card in MorePowerTool and you don’t know which one is the right one? Exactly for this purpose, there is now this freeware, with which you can easily clear out all the overhead beforehand. Small tool, big effect! But please read the instructions first..
