Cooling Fans Practice Reviews

The marathon starts: Review with 6 case and radiator fans from be quiet! Black Noise, Corsair, Cooler Master, Noctua and Thermaltake

Blacknoise NB-eLoop X PWM B12xP ARGB

The Noiseblocker eLoops from Blacknoise are the elegant transition to the upper class, but with almost 28 euros they cost more than three times as much as the Pure Wings 2 from be quiet!

Here I must preface this with a very important note. Our test fan obviously has a damage, but we only noticed it during the acoustic test (that’s what frequency analyses are for!) and then later when comparing it with the other test samples. The manufacturer will pick up this fan, replace it and then we will retest.
The publicly available technical data also incorrectly refers to a fan with 2400 rpm, so they are the same on the packaging and the data sheet. The manufacturer has been informed and has promised to adjust these values as soon as possible. The blame here obviously lies with the manufacturing factory. So in the table are the (still) wrong ones. Why no tester has noticed this yet, however, definitely raises questions since it’s obvious.
