The marathon starts: Review with 6 case and radiator fans from be quiet! Black Noise, Corsair, Cooler Master, Noctua and Thermaltake

The “weakest” fan is unfortunately also almost the most noisy, so that the Cooler Master Master Frame MF120 Halo loses here again. This is because the rather meagre performance is out of all proportion to the sound pressure level that occurs. With Thermaltake, the operating noise is still in an acceptable ratio to the SPL values, whereby especially at 500 rpm, Noctua’s fan is just ahead of Noiseblocker’s, if you put both in relation to each other.

Next, let’s look at the frequency analyses of all measurements for all fans measured and all three speeds tested. The graphics speak for themselves:
