Color-Performance and Brightness Comparison
Fresh out of the box, the ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQ-W is found in the solid midfield in terms of brightness and color accuracy. This is acceptable for a pure gaming monitor.
Brightness
Gray Scale
Saturation
ColorChecker
The max. 368 nits in SDR mode are really very bright and the min. 48 nits should also be enough for nighttime gaming. For info: In sRGB mode, the brightness is 163 nits (not adjustable). On the next page, you will see whether I can still get something out of the panel by means of a calibration.
