Sharkoon SKILLER SGS2 Jr Review – Perfect custom-made gaming chair for children and teenagers

Also, when it comes to screwing it together, everything is one size smaller. The scope of delivery includes the usual items such as the two seat halves, armrests, the rocker, a gas pressure spring, the base and the castors, as well as other accessories such as screws, hexagon socket screwdriver, covers, upholstered cushions and the assembly instructions in paper form. That’s all you need, except maybe time. In 15 minutes at the latest, the chair should be up and running. Child’s play.

The castors are also smaller than usual and have no brakes, which certainly accommodates the children’s urge to move, but still makes floor protection advisable even on laminate.

The gas pressure spring is shorter than usual and does not carry as much weight as the springs of good adult chairs. However, this is less of a problem because the manufacturer only plans to make the chair suitable for adults weighing up to 65 kilos. But it’s more than enough for that.

Screwing on the two angle brackets for the backrest starts at the seat and requires the tool supplied. The holes are quite accurate and so there are no major finger exercises to complete the fun with the hexagon socket quite quickly. I’ve remembered that being a lot worse, too.

Then you adjust the backrest. Of course you can mount the cushion at the end, but it wanted to be on the photo already,

The final screwing of the backrest is done in no time and also the covering of the mechanics is quickly screwed on. Since everything is one size smaller, handling the chair during assembly is also much more manageable and you also need a little less space when working.

The rocker and armrests are then screwed to the underside of the seat with a total of 8 screws and the whole chair construction with the rocker is then placed on the prepared gas pressure spring. However, you should not forget to cover the spring at the beginning, otherwise there is visually a minus point. This is because it can no longer be corrected later.

And that’s about it, so it’s truly not witchcraft. Game on for round one!

:cautious:

Trotzdem schöner Test.
