Summary and conclusion
After almost a year of use, I can say that this mouse performs very well. The sensor has never disappointed me, the precision is excellent. I like the RGB lighting very much, only criticism here: In direct comparison with the Sharkoon Light² 100, I find the mouse wheel on the Light² 200 too darkly illuminated. It may not come across in the picture here the way it will come across to you in real life. If you currently already have an RGB mouse and the mouse wheel is quite brightly illuminated, you will notice it immediately!
The workmanship is very good, the design is perfect for a medium sized hand and will please every Palm grip player! With the software provided by Sharkoon for download, everyone can configure the mouse the way they want it. If you don’t want to use this software, you can click through the 7 preset DPI levels, adjust the RGB lighting via button combo and the polling rate independently from the software. That’s the way to do it!
At a current price of about 42 to 45 €, the Sharkoon Light² 200 is almost a bargain, if you compare the equipment, workmanship, scope of delivery and customization options for the price, with other market competitors. And yes, I will follow my own advice and give my Sharkoon Light² 200 a good cleaning. This mite palace is almost embarrassing. On that note, read you on the forum!
