Let’s start first with the star of the set, the Antila D5 EVO. I have owned this one privately for a while now and there are definitely differences in the new version now. In contrast to the previous version, the new one now has a SATA power connector instead of the Molex connector. The ARGB connector has also changed, as it can now be connected directly to the controller or connected normally to the 5V ARGB header on our motherboard.
Otherwise, the workmanship has remained as good as the previous version. By the way, what I really like about this AGB/pump combo is that everything was milled out of one block. There is nothing rattles among themselves and that here again a real glass tube was used, is a very positive point. At the time, Raijintek was only the second manufacturer on the market to use a real glass tube with the Antila D5 Evo Rev1, which has many advantages.
The glass also makes cleaning easier if we use a liquid with dye. In addition, the glass tube used here does not cause any clouding, which can always occur with acrylic tubes due to the dyes and suspended particles used. The tube can be easily removed and cleaned with clear water. Simple and without residues.
What is also pleasing here again is the pump used, as this is the popular Lowara D5. This pump is considered one of the best D5 pumps on the market and is very quiet, maintenance free and trouble free. The pump speed can be adjusted on the underside with a slotted screwdriver and the speed can be read off via a tachometer signal. This worked in all of our programs that we use for monitoring. The Lowara D5 I use has been working flawlessly in my system for a good 1 year.
To the Antila D5 Evo there are of course again various accessories, screws and nuts so that we can mount the pumps/AGB combination according to our needs.
