Quick Starter – Short guide and overview for diagnostics, hybrid OC and fine tuning
The following three sections are a short guideline and introduction for all those who now want to take a closer look at Project Hydra. That’s quite enough to get first impressions and experiences, because the knowledge comes, as always, when you do it yourself and not only when you copy it. That’s why I’m calling on the community to compile, evaluate and discuss as much data as possible. Based on this, small tutorials or practical tips can be created, because the possibilities for variation are almost infinite. What runs stable on three systems can look completely different on a fourth system and there will probably never be a general guideline down to the last detail. Only the way to get there (and possible pitfalls) will we be able to document as best we can.
And if you’re feeling ambitious and you’ve always wanted to have your own article on the igor’sLAB homepage: Challenge accepted! Whoever wants to contribute here, the way is never blocked, on the contrary. Because then everyone gets something out of it, Yuri included. It starts, by the way, as it did with CTR, with a comprehensive diagnosis:
HYDRA_10D_Diagnostics
Once you have all that behind you, then you can venture into hybrid OC. And please don’t forget to pay attention to the system requirements and necessary settings we already listed on the previous page. Otherwise things can inevitably go wrong.
HYDRA_10D_QuickStart_HybridOC
Finally, a few words about various tests and the Curve Optimizer for those who want to cling a little more to the motherboard’s own UEFI:
HYDRA_10D_Boost_Curve
The following video will show you a few more details and it works also for the freeware version:
That’s us done for now, but we’re counting on the community and feedback. Even if a software runs stable and clean it is never finished. There are always wishes and suggestions. Otherwise, I don’t think there would be any real progress either! And since you’ve consumed all that so well, you can finally download Project Hydra on the next page. Perseverance is always rewarded here, of course. 🙂
