According to the latest information, the launch of AMD’s 9000 series has been delayed until March 2025 due to software optimizations. The detailed article on this is linked here so that you can read the whole thing again. At the same time, PowerColor has added two new graphics cards to its website, which can be assigned to the 9070 series.
AMD verschiebt RX 9070 Serie: Softwareoptimierung als offizieller Grund
The Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card has been listed on the Powercolor website for some time. So far, however, only the design and the name “Red Devil” have been published. Two more models have been added and can now be admired. These are the Hellhound AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and the Reaper AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT. These two models were unveiled at this year’s CES 2025 a few weeks ago. Technical specifications are currently missing, so information remains limited and details can only be deduced from the designs for the time being.
The Hellhound AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT relies on a three-fan solution and is presumably a 2.5-slot card. The typical Hellhound logo and the PowerColor logo can be seen on the fans. The card offers three DisplayPorts and an HDMI connection.
The Reaper AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT also relies on a three-fan solution and should also be a 2.5-slot card, as with the Hellhound. The connections on the card are identical to those on the Hellhound card. However, the PowerColor logo is shown on the fans. The difference probably lies in the clock rates, with the Hellhound card probably achieving higher values.
As mentioned, there are currently no technical specifications or information on pricing from PowerColor. A release date has also not yet been announced. Until further details follow, it remains to be seen. There is also no indication that PowerColor plans to release non-XT cards.
