Summary
In the end, as with the Radeon RX 580, it's a rather old (but well matured and slightly lighter) wine in new, technologically improved hoses – but also no new chip. However, the slightly slimmed-down smaller sister of the Radeon RX 580 fulfils a completely different purpose and also serves a completely different target group. And that's where we want to start and get back to the title of this review.
The card serves a grandiose gap that Nvidia has left open. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is definitely too slow and the GTX 1060 3GB is neither fish nor meat. And so our blonde beauty can stretch herself almost at will in the sun and clear right there, where the buyer 200 Euros for a graphics card is simply too much, but the performance of the other competitors is too low. The extra clock has done the card well, even if the socket gets a little more sweating.
In the end, it remains within sometolerable limits, especially since none of the users has to have their electricity costs written to the energy supplier. If he did, he's certainly done something else wrong.
On the positive side, the Radeon RX 570 also has all the small, improved things that you can only see away from the benchmark bars. This now includes better handling of the clock in the partial load range, resulting in lower power consumption values in the dual-monitor setup (and same resolutions) as well as hardware-accelerated video playback. This was long overdue and one wonders again and again why not immediately? Not quite perfect when it comes to different monitor setups, but it's a good start.

Conclusion
It is the exact price and the performance that is decided. Most GeForce GTX 1060 3GB are still above AMD's RRP in road price, only a few equal or just below. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti falls through the grid of this performance class anyway because of its significantly lower performance. If we keep the benchmarks in mind, the Radeon RX 570 is usually ahead of the small GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, and that really makes it a real appetite for price-conscious people. Because the EIA is a stretchy phrase that will surely fall down faster than pugs can say.
