AMD Radeon RX 570: the little blonde with the black soul

But what can the new edition offer (more)? After all, the GPU itself is not a real new development, but only the continuation of what AMD started with "Ellesmere" and Polaris 10 last year. Since our launch article "AM... Power supply and layout The board is a simple multi-layer design by Asus and differs significantly from the old layout of the Asus RX 470 Strix OC. We now take a closer look at the board and see that the voltage supply... Achievable clock rates over the course of the temperature Cold cards are always the best, but unfortunately this is never so realistic. That's why we have stressed the Asus RX 570 Strix OC and are both open and closed. Summary In the end, as with the Radeon RX 580, it's a rather old (but well matured and slightly lighter) wine in new, technologically improved hoses - but also no new chip. The slightly slimmed-down little sister de...

Doom (volcano)

Doom and Vulkan is again a welcome soul comforter for the Radeon community – and rightly so, as the current benchmarks show:

Grand Theft Auto V (DX11)

This DirectX11 title is reminiscent of earlier launch times, when the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB and later even the slimmed-down 3GB version were the measure of things in so many older titles. It hasn't gotten much better, but it's playable with the Radeon RX 570, of course. And that's what really matters.

Metro: Last Light (DX11)

With Metro Last Light, the situation is similar, albeit somewhat more balanced. It is playable and you can see the progress to the RX 470.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands (DX11)

What happens when the press driver distributed by AMD obviously does not contain the latest changes is shown in the Crimson ReLive Edition 17.4.2, which we used for AMD's Radeon RX 480, 470 and the R9 380, while the special press driver for the Radeon RX 580 and 570 especially in the frametimes fails terribly. We still know this behavior from all Radeons after the launch of the game, as well as Radeon RX 480 & Co. affected by these spikes. A solution has obviously been found for these cards, but not (yet) for the new edition.

.

The Witcher 3 (DX11)

We offer something conciliatory towards DirectX11 at the end with this game, because the Radeon RX 570 is well in the race and also shows decent frametime courses
