Back to high FPS gaming with FSR
In 1440p, Sapphire’s RX 5700 XT still just managed to crack the 60 FPS mark. Then now in Full-HD should really go off the post again. Let’s have a look!
Nice packaging, which unfortunately does not give us any information about the performance. So let’s have those benchmark results!
There you go! Caution, who now thinks that he can fire his 240 Hz Full-HD monitor with such a card, should be told: With decreasing render resolution and corresponding upscaling to 1080p, the picture will be extremely affected. Sure, it’s always in the eye of the beholder, but I can’t recommend it with a clear conscience. And anyone who now thinks that this only applies to FSR is sorely mistaken. DLSS is not really any better here either. You can’t make a bird of paradise out of a crow!
For the 144 Hz full HD players, I recommend the FSR Ultra quality level. Whereby the pure native performance of the RX 5700 XT in 1080p is convincing even without “digital Viagra”! Now the two GPU retirees are missing, starting with the RX 590. Then let’s turn the page.
