It can go wrong more than you might think
It may look simple, but if you don’t pay attention to the socket type and cooler characteristics, errors quickly happen, which can later make cooling extremely worse.
In the first example, you rely on horizontal mounting, but do not have a housing with the top of the trigger and fan. Here the heat builds up to the GAU.
In this example, one trusts, for example, on a housing with a lid fan, but forgets the support with a suction aid on the back. The air has to take a detour first and stows slightly behind the radiator.
Recently seen in the forum: one blows the cooling air against the normal air flow. Megafail. Also seen: a departure from the power supply fan:
