NZXT CAM Software
Let’s talk briefly about the software at this point. I won’t go into the individual functions in detail, as some of them would require a more extensive explanation. If there is a need for this, Igor himself may be able to go into more detail at some point. In this review, I will only go into the software’s range of functions and show the various menus.
Lighting & Volume
In the “main menu” of the audio settings of the NZXT CAM software we find the obligatory lighting settings and the basic settings “microphone volume”, “headphone volume” and the “sidetone” (how loud you hear yourself through the headphones).
Voice equalizer
This tab contains the settings for “optimizing” the recorded voice. If you don’t want to delve too deeply into the matter, you can use the simple EQ settings (bass, mid-range, treble).
But if you do want to delve a little deeper and experiment, the advanced settings offer various high-pass and low-pass filters along with the corresponding frequencies and Q factors.

The third tab contains all the filters that are intended to reduce or remove unwanted background noise. For example, background noises, sibilants and plosive sounds can be counteracted here:
While here, among other things, unwanted noise and the distortions generally referred to as “clipping” are combated:
