NVIDIA has released the latest version of its GeForce Game Ready drivers. Version 572.16 brings official support for the new RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards as well as numerous optimizations and bug fixes.

New features and improvements
The new driver adds support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation to over 75 games and applications. In addition, titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2 and Hogwarts Legacy benefit from updates with improved ray tracing settings and new DLSS features.
Other improvements include:
- Support for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, 5090D & 5080 GPUs
- CUDA 12.8 support
- Various performance enhancements, bug fixes and driver improvements
In addition, new titles have been announced that will soon receive DLSS Multi Frame Generation, including Black Myth: Wukong, Marvel Rivals, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and NARAKA: BLADEPOINT.
Fixed bugs
- G-SYNC compatibility: Flickering at low FPS (<60) has been fixed
- Micro-stuttering in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with V-Sync disabled
- Improved stability for Ubisoft games with Snowdrop engine
- Optimizations for software such as Evernote, QQ and Asus Armory Crate to reduce CPU usage
- Fix for Blender Cycles: Correct display of motion blur
- KeyShot 2024: Stability improvements when loading keyframe animations

Known issues
Some bugs remain unsolved, including:
- Changes to the “Display GPU Activity Icon” only take effect after a restart
- VRay 6: Unexpectedly low performance in CUDA Vpath tests on Blackwell GPUs
The new drivers are now available for download on NVIDIA GeForce and offer both performance boosts and quality improvements for current and upcoming games.
Incidentally, NVIDIA also had a small oops moment with the driver at the beginning:
