NVIDIA is apparently planning to present several new technologies at CES 2025 that are specifically geared towards the use of artificial intelligence (AI). This information was revealed in an announcement by Inno3D, a partner company of NVIDIA. The presentation will presumably focus on developments in the field of neural rendering and advanced Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technologies.
AI integration in new GPU models
With the launch of the GeForce RTX 50 series, codenamed “Blackwell”, NVIDIA is expected to unveil technologies at CES 2025 that aim to optimize performance and efficiency through AI. These include new approaches to graphics rendering, image quality and energy consumption.
According to Inno3D, the announced features include:
- Advanced DLSS technology: improved algorithms for higher frame rates and more detailed rendering.
- Enhanced ray tracing capabilities: Improved RT cores for more realistic lighting and shadow effects in games.
- AI-accelerated graphics performance: Optimizations for AI-based tasks, including gaming and creative applications.
Neural Rendering: New graphical rendering techniques based on AI. - More efficient energy use through AI: AI-based optimization of energy consumption and temperature control.
- Improved AI upscaling processes: Benefits for content creators through higher quality scaling of video content.
Generative AI acceleration: Adaptations for the use of generative AI, for example in the area of content creation.
Further developments in GPU technology
The RTX 50 series is offered by Inno3D in different variants, including models such as iCHILL Frostbite, iCHILL X3, INNO3D X3, Twin X2, White and Small Form Factor (SFF). In addition to the technical innovations in the field of AI, these GPUs will be available in different designs to meet different user requirements. The concept of “neural rendering” is likely to be a particular focus here. This is a method that redesigns the processing and display of graphics and thus represents a further development of previous rendering techniques. NVIDIA has reportedly been working on the integration of such solutions for some time, particularly for the gaming sector.
Significance of CES 2025 for NVIDIA
CES 2025, which takes place on January 6, is expected to be an important platform for the presentation of new technologies. Alongside NVIDIA, other companies will also be showcasing new products and innovations, but the company’s keynote could receive special attention due to its focus on AI-powered technologies. This development is likely to play an important role for the gaming industry and the creative use of GPUs. The integration of AI into GPU technology shows that this area will take on greater importance in the future – both in terms of increased performance and energy efficiency.
