The rumor mill is currently buzzing on the internet. As the well-known leaker kopite7kimi reports, NVIDIA is apparently planning to release two new variants of the GeForce RTX 5070. In addition to the base model, there is also said to be a GeForce RTX 5070 Super and a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Super. The leaked specifications could well be of interest to many potential buyers.

Let’s first take a look at the GeForce RTX 5070 Super. This is based on the GB205-400-A1 graphics chip, which means that many technical details are already known. The card is said to be equipped with 6400 CUDA cores and have a TDP of 275 watts. However, the extended video memory is particularly exciting, as NVIDIA is apparently planning to equip the card with 18 GB of VRAM. To compare the whole thing: That would be 6 GB more than the standard model and 2 GB more than the 16 GB variant, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. The memory operates via a 192-bit interface with a bandwidth of 28 Gbps.
Just a few hours later, the leaker kopite7kimi published further details on the even more powerful GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Super. This is based on the GB203-350-A1 chip, which is equipped with 8960 CUDA cores, just like the regular 5070 Ti, which is already on the market. The TDP here is 350 watts. NVIDIA is also upping the ante when it comes to memory, which may make customers sit up and take notice. There are plans for 24 GB of VRAM, which are connected via a 256-bit interface with 24 Gbps bandwidth.

What the leaker has not revealed is a possible release date for the two maps. It therefore remains to be seen how the whole story will develop. However, it could still take some time and customers will have to wait until official information from NVIDIA is known. What we can say, however, is that the GeForce RTX 5070 Super offers solid performance and could convince one or two customers. The same also applies to the Ti Super variant, which will most likely be significantly more expensive.
