The PCI IDs of the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” mobile GPUs have been uncovered in the PCI ID repository, according to Harukaze5719. This evidence confirms a variety of models suitable for both desktop and mobile devices, and will likely position itself for the laptop market with up to 13 different model variants.
NVIDIA plans to integrate the RTX 50 series as a new generation of gaming graphics cards in both desktop computers and laptops.
While the more powerful variants are still planned for the desktop sector, the mobile sector will be expanded to include energy-efficient models with new memory technologies. The laptops with these GPUs are set to be released at CES 2025 and are expected to be equipped with the latest processors from Intel and AMD. Previous leaks have already indicated six different models for the mobile sector of the Blackwell series. A core element of this new GPU series is the introduction of GDDR7 memory technology, which could improve the performance and efficiency of the cards.

The specific core configurations of the individual models are not yet fully known. Only the full configurations of some GPUs have been revealed in advance. The PCI IDs listed indicate that a GPU model may be launched in multiple variants, allowing different performance classes for different purposes. NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” series thus offers different models for the laptop market: The RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 variants are now known. Rumors of an RTX 5080 Ti are currently unconfirmed. The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 are likely to have 16 GB of memory, while the RTX 5070 Ti will probably be equipped with 12 GB and the models below with 8 GB. The PCI ID of a GB102 GPU indicates that the RTX 5090 is currently the only model that could use this powerful chip.
