The RTX 3080 FE in WQHD with DLSS or FSR support
If you currently own one of the new RTX 3000 or RX 6000 cards, you most likely won’t need up-scaling support in a game like Marvel’s Avengers in 1440p. At least not if you own such a unicorn as an RX 6700 XT, an RTX 3060 Ti or above. But for all you high FPS addicts, let’s set a bar.
The 144 Hz 1440p monitor owner will get the necessary potency out of the GPU here even without a “green” or “red” pill. Somehow this picture looks familiar? FSR is usually always slightly ahead. Maximum 10 FPS on average. After all! Let’s take a look at the details.
And the best comes at the end!
I had to adjust the resolution of the last two slides so that you can see anything at all. The frame times are <8.33 ms at 99.5%, so this is easily enough for the 144 Hz monitor! You don’t see any extremes in the variances either, it’s all tippy toppi. Let’s see what else we can squeeze out of the PC in 1080p. Turn the page!
