Summary and conclusion
I don’t think I need to say much more about the approximate performance of these N-CPUs, but with today’s results, it’s worth taking another look at our big comparison:
Kampf der Zwerge: Mini-PC Benchmark im Vergleich und Übersicht aller bisher getesteten Modelle
The GK3 Plus can often take the lead in its weight class, especially in benchmarks that have somewhat longer runs. The consistently very low temperatures probably allow a higher average boost clock than the other competitors. At the same time, this mini PC always remains pleasantly quiet, almost inaudible.
Due to the proportionally large fan, the perceptible noises are more of a low hiss, rather than the much more noticeable whirring of small fans at the same volume. Incidentally, a full scan with Windows Defender did not reveal any findings, so a good result all round.
With the code “DNC96DTN” there is a 5% discount at Amazon. This is a referral link, but I do not accept any commissions offered by the manufacturer. Neither I nor IgorsLab earn any money by using the voucher code provided.
In combination with the 60 euro coupon offered, you end up with a final price of around 195 euros. If I am not mistaken, this is probably the cheapest system I have tested so far. The test results are decent, my Home Assistant with a few additional services has been running wonderfully on a comparable mini PC for months. However, it is still not recommended as a desktop replacement.
