Netburst Revival? Intel's mobile processor with free multiplator to boost up to 5.3GHz

As you've probably read somewhere, Intel has the upcoming Core series of the 10th. Generation for enthusiast notebooks (such as comet Lake-H) for tomorrow's 2nd April announced. This series will take advantage of the well-known 14 nm manufacturing process and offer up to 8 cores.

The flagship processor codenamed Core i9-10980KH will be an unlocked 8-core with 16 threads and clock frequencies of up to 5.3 GHz. However, this value is not the typical turbo frequency, based on Max Boost 2.0), which has already been collated thanks to numerous leaks, but a so-called Thermal Velocity Boost. This is Intel's other way to increase the clock speed under certain conditions. In this case, the clock should reach 5.3 GHz if the temperature and the power budget allow it.

The TVB was first introduced with the Core i9-8950HK, Intel's first Core i9 for the mobile platform. Nevertheless, more and more clock is not a solution, as we could see very nicely at Intel's netburst cul-de-sac at the time. At the same time, NVIDIA is also expected to announce its GeForce RTX Super series for laptops. Let's see, because that could end up being even the more interesting part.

The following table shows the possible data of the next generations that videocardz.com wants to receive:
