Let’s take a look at the technical specifications. The mini PC is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor of the Zen4 architecture, which offers 16 cores and 32 threads. The maximum clock speed is 5.4 GHz and the total cache is 80 MB. The graphics unit is an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT with RDNA3 architecture, which has 8 GB GDDR6, runs via a 128-bit bus interface and offers a memory bandwidth of 288 GB/s. The graphics card has 32 compute units and 2049 stream processors and the gaming frequency is 2300 MHz.

The RAM consists of DDR5 RAM with 5200 MHz, which can be expanded to up to 96 GB. There are two SSD slots that support RAID0 and RAID1 and can hold up to 4 TB of storage. The connections include: 1x RJ45 2.5G Ethernet port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, 1x 3.5 mm Combo Jack port, 1x HDMI, and 1x DisplayPort.

Particular attention was paid to the cooling system. The system, known as “Cold Wave Ultra”, is designed to offer innovative cooling. With a maximum total cooling capacity of 205 W, it enables continuous high-load operation over longer periods of time, ideal for 3A games, graphics processing and AI applications, according to Minisforum.

Another thing worth mentioning is the Wifi 7 support of the AtomMan G7 PT. The new generation of WiFi 7 is said to offer faster network transmission speeds and lower latency, and supports bandwidth-intensive applications such as 8K video to significantly improve gaming and creative experiences.

According to Minisforum, delivery is scheduled for the end of July 2024. The 32 GB Ram 1 TB SSD variant costs 1,199 dollars, while the barebone option is listed at 999.00 dollars. A high price, but still manageable for these technical specifications.

Jemand soetwas wirklich in Benutzung weil alternativlos? - Ernstgemeinte Frage.

ja, das mein ich ja - mini pc ala n100 oder NUC bzw. oder der gleichen, vs. das hochgezüchtete mini Teil.
Mir fehlt irgendwie der Anwendungsfall für das "mini" Monster.

Wohnzimmerspielkonsole irgendwie... mhhh
