Intel presents itself at CES 2025 alongside AMD and NVIDIA

Intel will be at CES 2025 and plans to showcase innovations in both client processors and artificial intelligence. The presentation is scheduled for January 6, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. PST and will mark the first public appearance of new Co-CEO Michelle Johnston Holthaus along with Jim Johnson, Senior Vice President of the Client Computing Group.

CES keynote schedule and new leadership

Intel’s CES appearance will be entitled “Intel-Driven Keynote: AI Inside for a New Era”. The company is thus demonstrating that artificial intelligence plays a central role in its strategy. This event will also highlight a change in leadership, as Pat Gelsinger will no longer be part of the presentation.

Expected product announcements

It is assumed that Intel will present new products for the mobile and desktop market. In the mobile processor sector, the Arrow Lake H and HX chips are likely, which could follow on from the approach of the previous Raptor Lake series. For desktop systems, the introduction of the non-overclockable variants of the Arrow Lake “Core Ultra 200S” processors is expected. In addition, new mainboards with LGA 1851 sockets, probably from the B860 series, could be launched on the market.

Possible developments in the graphics sector

In the graphics segment, it is unclear whether Intel will show new products. It is possible that further variants of the Battlemage GPUs or the Intel Arc B850 model will be presented. However, Intel has frequently changed its schedules in the past, which is why these announcements are still uncertain.

Updates on production processes and foundry services

In addition to the product presentations, Intel could also provide insights into the further development of its production process. In particular, the progress of the 18A process, which is considered one of the company’s most important future technologies, is likely to be a topic of discussion.

A look at the competition

Intel will be the first company to start with its keynote, before NVIDIA and AMD give their presentations. This shows the importance of CES as a platform for technical innovations. CES 2025 should provide exciting insights into the plans of leading technology companies. Intel will use the opportunity to give an outlook on its future technologies and strategies. The announcements could play an important role in strengthening the company’s position in a highly competitive market.
