The sellers
Why do you think we specifically asked for a written reply? As a “project manager” you have enough work volume not to be chewed off at least one ear by phone and completely undesirable by a salesperson. Let’s review our phone call and extract the most important things, then we can draw a few conclusions from just under 10 minutes of conversation. They in turn revealed a certain half-knowledge, which is supposed to make a good salesman. Let’s consider the statements as facts:
• Only the assembly on site according to the supplier’s wishes guarantees this conformity
• Two ErP compliant components do not need to be automatically compatible with each other
• CPU and graphics card also influence the compatibility and functioning of the
Statement and conclusion on the part of the representative:
The customer himself is not in a position to assemble an ErP compliant PC
The requested parts had, of course, been carefully selected. The Enermax Modu 82+ is in the offered variant ErP compliant, the GA P55-USB3 R 2.0 from Gigabyte also. So together, it would work perfectly. We had to let that be put to rest. What do you think the graphics card and CPU have to do with ErP Lot 6? We don’t know. We checked if the stand-by operation really meant, which was reconfirmed. We had the feeling that at this point an unsafe customer should be further frightened in order to have as free a choice as a provider in the compilation. This is simply indecent and completely out of the way. The shop is rather confusing, but the item descriptions are mostly well recorded and also between several products due to a uniform structure simply comparable.
Here should really only buy those who are aware of the characteristics of the articles and who do not shy away from the way through the manufacturer’s pages to check the conformity themselves. The unsolicited recall lacks the necessary seriousness, as it has been explicitly asked for a written answer. Anyone who disregards the customer’s wishes in this way degrades it to an inferior ordering and paying animal. That, in turn, we will certainly not do.
