We have already looked at the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM in detail. The interesting thing was that the PG32UCDM delivered – sometimes significantly – different results in my test than my colleagues from Monitors Unboxed, TFTCentral, HardwareLUXX etc.. In addition, there were various bugs that only I and my colleagues at Hardwaredealz have encountered so far. (Topic DCI-P3 color space is only clamped as sRGB color space after manual white point settings) If you haven’t read this yet, please do so:
With the MCM105 firmware update, ASUS is now launching the long-promised Dolby Vision. So it’s time to take another look at the PG32UCDM to see to what extent ASUS was able to fix the bugs I found.
Attention, important note!
I have retested everything in full, but to avoid redundancy, I will only go into the topics where something has changed/improved/deteriorated. So if I don’t go into certain topics again, this means that nothing has changed with regard to HDR10, for example!
With that out of the way, let’s get into it.
