According to the AMD, the flagship Ryzen 9 7950X3D with 16 cores will cost the same as the "original" Ryzen 9 7950X with 16 cores at launch, which is $699. This processor will launch on February 28 along with the Ryzen 9 7900X3D, which is a 12-core version. AMD has priced this model at $599, which is $50 more than the 7900X's launch price.

These Ryzen 9 X3D CPUs are to be followed by the 8-core Ryzen 7 7800X3D model on April 6. According to AMD, this CPU will cost $449, which is even more than the recently reviewed Ryzen 9 7900 non-X ($429).

All three CPU models are equipped with increased 3D V-cache, which should enable better gaming performance across the entire stack. The top model was demonstrated by AMD by beating Intel's Core i9-13900K 24-core CPU in games. The new introductory prices for Ryzen 7000X3D guarantee that the 7000X series will not return to the original prices. In fact, all of the retail (Amazon) prices listed below are already significantly lower:
- AMD Ryzen 9 7950X currently costs $589
- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X currently costs $419
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X currently costs $345
All three models come with a code for the free Star Wars Jedi Survivor game. It is unclear whether the 7000X3D series will also be included in this action.
