First public database for power supply comparisons: Cybenetics puts all test results online with a user-friendly GUI

Cybenetics, which specializes in the certification and evaluation of computer hardware, in particular power supply units (PSUs) and cooling systems, has for the first time put a large database of all previously tested PSUs online. The company now also offers private users detailed tests and reports on energy efficiency, noise development and performance as a free service in a unique overview. Cybenetics’ certifications, such as the ETA and LAMBDA certificates, help both consumers and manufacturers to better understand and compare the quality and efficiency of products and can also be viewed here

Cybenetics services as part of the database

The test procedures include energy efficiency, in which the efficiency of power supply units is tested under various load conditions. Noise performance is also evaluated, measuring the volume of power supplies and cooling systems. In addition, Cybenetics tests the overall performance of the hardware, including stability, temperature management and longevity. This allows users to filter the most efficient, quietest and best performing PSUs according to criteria such as power, form factor, capacity, input voltage and ATX specifications.
