Test of the protection circuits
The OCP at +12 V and the OPP are set correctly, while the side rails have very high trip points. All other protection features are also present and work well.
OCP | +12 V: 86.4 A (122.03%), 11,923 V +5 V: 31.2 A (156%), 4,988 V +3.3 V: 31.6 A (158%), 3,279 V 5VSB: 5 A (166.67%), 4,945 V |

OPP | 1040.87 W (122.46%) |
OTP | Yes (126°C @ secondary side) |
SCP | +12 V: Yes +5 V: Yes +3.3 V: Yes 5VSB: Yes -12 V: Yes |
PWR_OK | Operates properly |

DC Power Sequencing
According to Intel’s latest Power Supply Design Guide (revision 1.4), the +12 V and +5 V rails must have a voltage equal to or greater than that of the +3.3 V rail at all times. For our first measurement, we turn the device off and turn it on again without loading any of the rails. The 3.3 V rail in the test is always at a lower voltage value than the other two rails. That’s it.
EMC Pre-Compliance Testing – Average and Peak EMI Detector Values
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is the ability of a device to function properly in its environment without interfering with the proper operation of other nearby devices. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) represents the electromagnetic energy emitted by a device, which, if too high, can cause problems for other nearby devices. The EMI emissions are measurably low.
