Corsair iCUE Software
We have already reported about the iCUE software in the last reviews. That’s why I’ll be a bit shorter in this review. The software is necessary to use the full range of functions of the mice tested here.
In the first submenu, the mouse buttons can be freely programmed. In the picture I assigned the keystroke “r” to the tilt gesture “tilt to the right” – so you can reload your weapon with the corresponding gesture in shooters, for example.
The lighting effects are unfortunately limited to the logo in the case of the wireless version. The mouse wheel of the wired version is also illuminated and can be configured accordingly.
In the item “Gestures” you can define how far the mouse has to be tilted so that the corresponding gesture is perceived. This can prevent a gesture from being recognized even though you actually just moved the mouse.
The 5+1 step DPI adjustment, where for each step the DPI value can be set in steps of 1 and a corresponding color for the respective profile. The sniper button is now also found on most gaming mice. If it is pressed, a different sensitivity is temporarily set for the period of the pressure.
In the device settings, various functions such as the energy saving mode, the polling rate, etc. can be configured.
