Technical data
As usual, there is again the obligatory table to marvel at in the first place.
Features
As far as features are concerned, Corsair has not been stingy and has implanted pretty much the complete portfolio of technical refinements into the K100 AIR. In fact, it’s the first desktop keyboard with Cherry’s MX Ultra Low Profile keys, which have some special features – I’ll go into more detail on the following page.
Elegant and ultra slim
The K100 AIR is just 11mm tall at its narrowest point and the brushed aluminum frame gives it an elegant and serious appearance.
Fast and secure connections
With SLIPSTREAM (sub-1ms), Bluetooth (4.2 ultra low latency) or USB (AXON with 8000Hz hyper-polling), the K100 AIR can be flexibly connected to many devices. The radio transmission is secured with 128 bit AES encryption.
Connection
Large battery for long usage time and powerful lighting effects
The built-in lithium polymer battery ensures long runtime. Without illumination, up to 200 hours are possible, while up to 50 hours are still guaranteed with activated per-key backlight.
Extensive media and special keys
Four G-Keys, four dedicated media keys and the popular Volume Roller are on board, as well as function-specific keys for lighting, profiles and the Win-Lock function. This makes annoying double occupancy a thing of the past.
CORSAIR AXON Hyper-Processing
AXON technology allows you to create up to 20 RGB layers and process keystrokes up to 8x faster (USB connection only).
8MB onboard memory
Up to 50 profiles with personalizable macros and lighting effects can be stored directly on the device and are then available everywhere (even without iCUE). Thus, the keyboard can be used quasi fully even at the workplace with limited usage rights without having to install the software.
