If you look around in the area of inexpensive small computers or energy-saving home lab centers, you will quickly come across systems with the Intel N100. With just enough power for normal desktop operation with browser applications and complex home assistant instances, it has become a real favorite. Even various NAS systems use it, some of which we have even tested. But now there is a successor in the form of the N150, which is installed in the EQ14 tested here today.
Packaging and scope of delivery
Visually, the box is the same as the other Beelink mini PCs, with a large picture of the top of the system on the front and the obligatory sticker on the back with information about the contents.
If we remove the cover, the EQ14 is directly revealed. But more on that later, of course we’ll also take a closer look at it.
Here, too, the manufacturer has integrated the power supply unit, so that only a short manual, power cable and HDMI cable are included.
Here comes a typical YouTube “call to action”: what do you think of integrated power supply units? Due to my IT profession, I have already set up hundreds of workstations with these small computers, albeit more from Dell or Lenovo, and only a handful have had problems with the power supply unit after years. A built-in power supply would definitely have saved me a lot of squeezing in cable ducts. Write it in the (forum) comments!
Specifications
Here is the usual overview of the technical details, further information can be found on the manufacturer’s product page.
