Average Efficiency 5VSB
The 5VSB rail is highly efficient.
Vampire Power
The power required by a power supply in standby mode is called vampire or phantom power because it is consumed without the power supply doing anything. This current is mostly lost via the 5VSB circuit of the power supply. Vampire power is low at 115 V, and could be even lower at 230 V.
Average efficiency
The average efficiency is really decent for a gold power supply.
PFC (Power Factor Correction)
A power factor correction filter increases the power factor reduced by the distortion reactive power, because it reduces the proportion of disturbing harmonics and thus also the mains load. The APFC converter of the Pure Power 11 urgently needs to be optimized for higher PF values.
