Battlefield V in first optics comparison: RTX Off versus RTX On from Normal to Ultra with HiRes images and video

Division of labour is a nice thing, especially when your system has to be "persuaded" manually for the 1809 update of Windows and you are unfortunately not one of those who have been pampered with pre-keys. But better late than never and together with colleagues, working and playing is twice as much fun. This is written by someone who hardly finds time to play really enjoyable, unfortunately.

Here we have a very typical scene, in which no reflections are displayed as a close-up image without ray tracing, because the objects to be reflected are outside the field of view. Here, the GeForce RTX 2080 creates a whopping 168 FPS. In normal mode, the ray tracing function does its job quite neatly and all objects to be reflected appear on the screen. The GeForce RTX 2080 still manages 99 fps – a sharp decline, but still playable.

Even in Ultra, ray tracing does not bring any real improvement in the precision of the reflections, at least not for the naked eye. However, the frame rate of the GeForce RTX 2080 drops to 78 FPS.
