The ASRock Taichi TC-1650T is a high-end power supply from a renowned manufacturer that is venturing into the demanding market for power supplies. Is it really good? Is the high price justified? These questions will of course be answered in the article, which is reason enough for me to let my friend Aris from Hardwarebusters have his say (and picture) again on our site, as he has not only intensively tested this power supply, which costs around 500 euros, but has also officially certified it through his company Cybenetics. As this will certainly be of interest to you, I am happy to offer him the platform to share his findings with you on a case-by-case basis. And don’t forget, his website and YouTube channel also offer real gems in terms of really well-founded reviews! The power supply is also featured in his article on the best ATX v3.x & PCIe 5.x power supplies.
ASRock is best known for its motherboards and graphics cards. However, a look at the official website shows that the company is also active in the areas of mini PCs, industrial PCs, servers/workstations and monitors. But that’s not all: ASRock recently ventured into the power supply market and introduced several models covering the mid- and high-end sector. The main OEMs behind ASRock’s new power supplies are FSP and HEC. The high-end models, including the Taichi TC-1650T presented here, come from FSP. The power supply unit has an RRP of USD 499 and will soon be available on the German market.
