The market for handheld consoles continues to grow and is becoming increasingly diverse as more and more companies announce their own models. One example is ONE-NETBOOK’s ONEXSUGAR dual-screen handheld, which we have also reported on in the past. AOKZOE is now also joining this trend and presenting its new handheld, the A1 X, which could be of particular interest to some gaming fans. The device was presented via a post on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter).

According to the information published so far, the A1 X will be equipped with an 8-inch native landscape screen that offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is a good rate. This ensures a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience. Inside the handheld is a processor from AMD. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, which is equipped with a total of 12 cores – including Zen 5 and 8 Zen 5c cores. The processor has a TDP of 28 W and offers clock rates between 2000 MHz and 5100 MHz.
Another interesting detail about the A1 X handheld is the built-in battery, which has a capacity of 72.7 Wh. This puts the A1 X from AOKZOE slightly below other current gaming handhelds, such as the Claw handheld from MSI or the ROG Ally X from Asus. Both of these handhelds have a capacity of 80 Wh. Nevertheless, the battery should be sufficient for longer gaming sessions.

Therefore, the company has not yet revealed any further details about the A1 X, such as the exact technical specifications, additional features or the price. The operating system used is also being kept under wraps for the time being. A specific release date also remains unknown for the time being, so interested parties will have to be patient until further information follows.
