Performance index
Interim summary
If you look back over the entire course of the test and also consider the introductory pages and the problems described, many a position in this table loses useful value. While the triple and quad Crossfire variants have won the places through performance and reasonably smooth variants, especially the Crossfire with only 2 GPUs often enough turns out to be dazzling. But of course we don’t want to anticipate the final conclusion.
Power consumption (“Current consumption”)
It has always been something special to achieve the highest frame rate possible. Whatever the cost. This conclusion must also be drawn in our test, because there is no sign of efficiency. Especially since the multi-GPU solutions almost always consume more in total.
If you wanted to choose something like the most powerful “power saver”, you would again not get around the solution with the three Barts cores. More than 100 watts less than two Geforce GTX 570s and still more performance is an exclamation mark. Even if only a very thin. There is no need to write anything more about the consumption of the two GTX 580s. The table speaks for itself.
