Ryzen and Vega combined: AMD's Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G in review

With Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G, AMD is sending two new APUs into the entry-level and mid-range segments that combine both Zen and Vega genes. This could make this combination a useful alternative to ... Zen becomes Ryzen But let's go back to our little introductory course, which we had already started on the first page. In the AI test both APUs beat each other really bravely and against the Ryzen 5 2400G you have to offer at least one expensive Core i5-8400 in order to keep up. At least in this CPU test it looks very good for both APUs, because even the savings bun Ryzen 3 2200G is cheerfully included. If overclocked, then of course even more so.

Let's move on to the actual graphics benchmark. The overclocked APUs are once again able to dominate the entire field at 720p. The overclocking potential is enormous here as well and we are once again amazed how well the new APUs already enable a clean playback at low resolutions. However, the old AMD APU A10-9700 is just as overwhelmed as Intel's iGP.

Also in Full-HD the following applies again: if the Ryzen 5 2400G has been properly overclocked, it can still be played quite neatly with low details. Amazing lynot.

Now we are limited to the six most important combinations or APUs, because some results are either unplayable or are not advertised for Full HD at all.
