Es sind nun mittlerweile sechs Monate vergangen und seitdem hat Samsung schon einige Firmware (FW) Updates durchgeführt. So wie unseren Fritzhunter verstanden habe hat MSI kein DSC!

Samsung dürfte ein externes Netzteil haben, was ich grundsätzlich auch beführworte….was nicht drin ist kann auch keine Wärme und Einstrahlung produzieren. Und der Samsung versorgt auch noch Geräte bis 65 Watt über USB C

MSI und Gigabyte haben eine Evolutionsstufe am Start.


(Selbst meine alte Sony 3D Glotze hat ein externes Netzteil, Strippe isr dünner und lässt sich besser (versteckt) verlegen)

Philips hat ein internes Netzteil wie ich es aus dem Test …Bild lese, AOC vermutlich auch.

DSC wird nur bei MSI als nicht vorhanden vom Hunter erwähnt.
(Bis dahin wusste ich als User nicht mal dass es das gibt und was das ist)

The one that recreates "Freesync Range" or the one that increases "Max luminance" 96 -> 138?
Or you don't have to touch EDID with the newest firmware?

Yes, you can adjust the RGB Settings in HDR.

Set your Monitor into the HDR mode, go into the settings and adjust the white balance:

Do I have to enable HDR in Windows? I don't see how to do that from the monitor menu. Also, "ST.2084" is always greyed out.

For a FreeSync compatible Display, you dont need to do anything, just enabled FreeSync in the Radeon settings and the Game Mode in the Display Menue.

So always: Send and Receive needs to be the same.

FreeSync HDR is now Freesync Premium Pro, so if the Display has FS HDR only, its EOL now.

Yes, it shows "Freesync HDR".
"Game Mode" in the menu is now "Freesync Premium Pro".

Two questions:
1. How the measured gamma on the test picture shows 2.0 while the monitor menu says 2.2? (see the photo from phone camera below). The old VA monitor matched 2.2 on this system. The test picture: https://www.eizo.be/monitor-test
Temporarily, the workaround is to select gamma BT.1886 level -2 to match test picture 2.2.

How did you manage to set gamma to ST.2084 in HDR mode? It's still greyed out for me no matter what. FW 1651
