Question RTX 3080 FE thermal pad mod

Hi, I tried to mod my RTX 3080 FE using Igor's guide and also other posts over internet, but have had no success instead getting worse VRAM temps now . I am using these Thermalright 1.5mm thermal pads I bought from amazon https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08CGVZ4YG . I replaced all the pads. My temps were 104-106C at peak before now they reach 110C and throttle. I mainly use it for gaming and haven't seen any performance drops but recently started mining btc in the spare time. I am not overclocking the gpu, but I reduce the power limit to 65% and fans to 68% when mining and thats when it starts to throttle. During gaming it also reaches upto 90C.

Did you reapply thermal paste of the GPU itself? Did you screw the card back together tightly?

I did not disassemble the gpu fully, just opened up the backplate and replaced stock pads with these ones and added a few extra as you can see in the picture. the temperatures I listed are all VRAM temps.

Too much oversaturation is rather counterproductive
