Question MorePowerTool AMD Pro 5300m support

Hello, I have a macbook pro 16 with amd pro 5300m and I wanted to underclock it so it wouldn’t throttle in bootcamp when playing games. I found out about morepowertool online and tried it for myself but unfortunately it does not support 5300m but it supports 5500m. When I tried using MPT it did not recognise the gpu or gpu’s bios so I couldn’t underclock it. Is there any fix for this or will there be new MPT updates for 5300m?

Yes, I saved 5300m bios with GPUZ and then loaded it to MPT.

Hi guys,

I can confirm MorePowerTool doesn't work with AMD Radeon Pro 5300M even though it works very well with 5500M.

Any chance that you can make it compatible in the future ?

Do you have a Device ID or a BIOS file?

Sure, here is the BIOS file.

The file loads correctly into MorePowerTool, but then if you want to change any setting and click "Write SPPT", it never get written.
