Erst neuer Treiber dann MPT ≙ Error.
Erst MPT dann neuer Treiber ≙ funktioniert.

driver 23.7.1 5600+tuf6700xt, I disabled pss_support/c-state/df_cstate on bios , freesync ON , it hasn't happened yet . I used to use CPU z timer to repeat this phenomenon1690375996375.png

@HuOke I have disabled C-States in Bios caused of unstable cores of my Ryzen 9 5900X.
You can read here. https://www.igorslab.de/community/threads/solved-windows-11-und-der-unterschied-von-energieoptionen-energiesparpläne-und-dem-energiestatus.8127/

If it may help you out, i can show you my BIOS Settings, but the specific Hardware causes may differ in your case.
It may be a translation problem. What I mean is that the black screen in the picture did not happen after I modified the bios. If it happens again, I will try your mpt method. it may be fixed in 23.7.1 idk. Idle power consumption is also Good to keep at 6w, turn off freesync will cause the vram frequency to maintain at 2000mhz, power consumption is 25w. Also I noticed that my idle gpu core voltage in hwinfo is 0.003V-0.875V, usually it is maintained at 0.1xxV, it is normal ? I remember it was usually 0.875v a few months ago before i modified the bios.

Sure, I didn't catch that your first post have the meaning of a solution.

I have aproved Radeon Software Version 23.7.1 and also 23.7.2, but both of them still causing black flickering issues without MPT changed settings to the SPPT.
At least in my case.

So for Your BIOS settings I didn't know if your mentioned changes are the only changes you made in your BIOS configuration?

Related to your question about the core voltage, i share also your view, that the flickering problems have something to to with voltage.
But both cpu core and also vram voltage are causing together this kind of Problem, next to the deep sleep configs.
And like i mentioned:
this problem is only Windows related and won't happened in Linux. So thats why i am happy with my BIOS settings and unhappy with AMDs Microsofts Windows 11 Drivers, SPPT, and energy management "creations".

@Hu0ke you may try out, like mentioned at your own risk, the attached configuration file with the curent version 1.3.19 of MPT.
If it should work things out to fix the Problems @ your system i would be appreciate your feedback.

About your BIOS config Solution, so if the Day will come that both, Linux and Windows will flickering togheter in spite of MPT changes than i will focus your solution approach ;-)
Cause like same in your case: Never change a running System... at least until objective problems of it become apparent.

23.5.1 Drivers go down below 7.350W in Desktop IDLE with the Display shows something. (no Zero Core Power)

hwinfo with MPT SPPT changes stays @ 0,825v vddcr in idle. gpuz shows still remaining the same 0,000V

Looks the same, mine is a 240hz screen . what other i modify in bios : tpm off ,hpet off(win10),something unrelated to power.

The timer in the early cpuz version can reproduce the flickering 100%, but the latest version does not seem to be able to.

I refer to this guide >https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c2-lUJq74wuYK1WrA_bIvgb89dUN0sj8-hO3vqmrau4/edit?pli=1

@Starfox555

I made a mistake. Modifying the bios can't solve the problem. The problem disappeared because I changed the monitor to 280hz. Today I changed it back to 240hz and tested it with cpuz-tool-timer. The problem came back. I will try your method.
and where can i get the RED BIOS Editor for navi22

and i only modified these , Is this ok?

@HuOke I recommend you make all hanges that I have explained here

Or you can just use the settings file I have posted above https://www.igorslab.de/community/t...-11-und-mpt-stand-03-05-2023.8176/post-230438

Here you can view the compatibility list and also read the how to do of the MPT.
as you optain there is no RBE compatible version for your GPU and if MPT does not work, try to install it before you install the AMD Software.

To trigger the flickering you can use the clean memory button from Wise Care 365 or use cinebench. Both should be fixed after MPT changes.

I tried to only modify ds/baco/dfcstate ,reboot, failed, then I canceled gfxoff ,reboot, test flickering no longer happens, ppt is still 8w, Minimum core voltage and power can still be reduced to zero, I don't know what this option changed, But it does seem to have solved the problem. In addition, I did not install the driver again, and the event did not report an error.
If there is still a problem, I will report it to you.

@HuOke Gfxoff I haven't tried before, DS is kind of deep sleep settings, but for me at least in my case that alone won't solve the flickering issue. So I spent many weeks in try to synchronise the ram and vram voltage and also soc and GPU voltage. Therefore if you have trouble again, I recommend you, to try the entire changes of the above attached mpt configuration file. If I will have the time, than I will translate the tutorial for global Radeon settings into English that you can see and understand the impact and causes of the changes.
