Hi

anyone can help how to update ASUS ROG Strix 5700 XT with custom bios
Everytime i modify memory timing using RBE will make GPU not detected on HiveOS or windows
i already try performance and quite bios with same problem
i try use ATIFlash Windows (2.93 or 3.04) and HiveOS
btw, but i still able to restore with stock BIOS

Anyone know how to update custom bios into ASUS ROG Strix 5700 XT ?

with stock bios i only can get 51MHS

Hello SlowMo,

could you please share your hiveos overclock-settings in detail?

I am new to this topic. In general could you please provide the values for all the fields in the picture?

Thank you very much in advance.

SlowMo, thank you very much for these settings. They made my temperature problem disappear. Mem Temp dropped from 90 to 88 instantly. Could you please also provide your BIOS file for flashing?

Thank you very much in advance.

It seems like was too quick too happy. My card crashes with these settings, although I have the same memory type as you have

I loverd the mem clock to 900 and it looks stable. I will monitor this for the next hours.

Again it crashed. Can anyone help me adjust this to stable setting?

But the memory temp still gets high.

@MacDe

attached my rog strix vBios that i modified from @Mini_Me and i following his guideline
I have 2 on my PC, but Sorry but i cannot remember which one that i applied into my rog strix
But u can check using RBE
btw, dont forget. Update it using atiflash 2.93PLUS as @Mini_Me advice

Dont forget also to backup your original vBios
check also is your rog stix is defective design as below link and maybe that is your root cause why your temp is very high

- Noon (AirCon OFF): 78
- Night (AirCon OFF): 76-78

Hallo SlowMo, thank you very much dir Sharing the BIOS.

I will try them. Did your BIOS configuration solve your Mem temp Problems, if.you Had any?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

MacDe

My mem temp not as high as yours that reach 90
Before i mod the bios max is 80-82

Above temp that i share consider normal as i stay near horizon.
But compare my reddevil (SAMSUNG MEM) look hotter but that as expected of micron if comparing with samsung

Try check your card if defective as web link that i share to u.
If yes, maybe asus service center will changed thicker thermal pads

I checked both of your files and I noticed that the file with the "m2" in the name is tweaked on a more advanced level. This file has also its "Overdrive limits" tweaked, for example its "GFX maximum clock" attribute. This BIOS also has the Power Limit set to 150 W. Do you remember that this was the right BIOS? Did any of the two BIOS brick your card?

Thank you very much in advance for your anwser.
