I am contemplating about buying this card because someone is offering this to me for a cheaper price here where I live. From my understanding, this card is just the "professional" / "workstation" equivalent of RX 5700 XT.

Any thoughts on this card? Has anyone here actually used this for mining? Does anyone know what the hashrate is? Can an unlocked BIOS be flashed on this GPU?

Hi, is this Mini_me's BIOS or the modified version from Beast819 in Posting #362?

What ist your ambient temperature? And is this a Samsung or Micron card?

@totolin8, whats your opinion now about Beast819's BIO

I use the bios from post #137,
Im in a warm weather, around 28°C.
I have micron memory

i just replace all thermal pads (Gelid ultimate), 1,5mm fot rams, and 1mm for the other parts but now i have a hotspot 105`C,

Core: 51°C, HotSpot: 105°C, Mem: 60°C, Fan: 48%, RPM: 2254 (Started to mining and quickly i stoped the miner)

i opened it again but i cant find the problem.

can u report u hotspot?
where could the problem be?

Maybe you forget a thermal pad or its slipped?

Here are the temps of my micron card, it have the original thermal pads. My ambient temperature is ~25°C.

I have some cards with samsung memory too, they dont need 100% fanspeed for 76°C memory temperature.

thanks for quick answer. I just fixed it.
I made a fast, cheap and effective solution. I just cleaned the chip and apply a thin thermal paste over it without remove the graphite pad from the dissipator. and the results...

Core: 56°C, HotSpot: 66°C, Mem: 70°C, Fan: 50%, RPM: 2346

The next time it opens it will be a mess. I hope it is not soon.

New cooling solution for my Micron card. And it works, the card has 4°C lower memory temperature. :)

I posted the above image downloaded via HiveOS, if someone can unlock it, I will be grateful!
I have cards of the 101 series, and a colleague above laid out the bios for version 106, because each incorrect firmware entails soldering the bios chip and its firmware by the programmer , and I have already soldered it twice, I want to flash the correct bios already! I will explain for those who do not know, if you flash the wrong bios, the system does not start at all with this card, even the bils of the PC motherboard does not load!
Can you confirm for me if I understand you correctly. You have a HP W5700 with 101 bios version, and if you flash on that card let's say ver 102 unlocked from Mini_Me, your card is bricked and the only way you can solve this is unsolder BIOS, then put it in your external programator, flash it and solder it back on the cardboard? Is this is what you are saying?

I've been mining with 5 cards using TeamRedMiner in HiveOS
for a while and it had been quite stable. I only had GPU detected dead
or high rejection in one of the card every once in a while.

All I had to do was to shutdown the rig to rest for half an hour
then everything will be stable back for a while.

Recently I just added 8 more cards (total of 13 cards) into the rig
and the rig became completely unstable using exactly the same setting
as when I had only 5 cards.

I've tried almost everything eg;

- Increased power
- Reduced to less aggressive overclock setting
- Changed riser VER006 to VER009 Plus
- Changed to shorter USB cable (1.5m to 1.0m),
- Changed to lolminer
- Reduced to 8 cards (slightly more stable).
- Fixed to PCIe Gen 2.

I have 100 W5700 Now, and I'm pretty impressed of this product.

I let you know my "golden sample" what can do:

In the hiveOS forum any users mean the best stability for 5700 series AMD cards has hiveOS 0.6-203. You can downgrade your rig with the command selfupgrade 0.6-203 in a shellbox.

Note that you dont need to shutdown your rig if a error occures, teamredminer has a watchdog who can restart your rig automatically if a gpu is detected dead. To do this, you have to put in the term --watchdog_script=watchdog.sh in the 'Extra config arguments' under Miner Config in your flight sheet.

Thanks.. I'm testing this now.

P.S It was more stable if I run TRM with A mode but still not perfectly stable.

I've used mini BIOS before, but it's unstable. I'm using the BIOS of beast 819 these two days. At present, the BIOS should be OK. I used the beast819 setting earlier. Miner is very unstable and there is a restart. At present, I have set corevdd, vddci, MVDD and men, which are stable, but more time is needed to verify the stability of these settings.

Hi..

How do you configure Phoenixminer to dualmine ETH+ZIL
on split pool (ETH on Nanopool and ZIL on ezil)?

It seem like it doesn't support split pool for ETH+ZIL.
It only supports ETH+ZIL on single pool (ezil).

I only managed to configure TeamRedMiner, lolminer,
and Nanominer to dual mine ETH+ZIL on split pool.

P.S It was more stable if I run TRM with A mode but still not perfectly stable.
Sorry, i dont understand. What do you mean with TRM and A mode?

Very cold in this version, see the screenshot!

I use the autofan function in hiveOS, with these settings:

In the summer months my micron card run with 100% fanspeed most of the time, now mostly between 70% - 80%. I think in winter I can reduce the minimum fanspeed to 20%, then I have maximum 10°C ambient temperature in my garage.
