I am contemplating about buying this card because someone is offering this to me for a cheaper price here where I live. From my understanding, this card is just the "professional" / "workstation" equivalent of RX 5700 XT.

Any thoughts on this card? Has anyone here actually used this for mining? Does anyone know what the hashrate is? Can an unlocked BIOS be flashed on this GPU?

Do you mean this version?

I have flashed this version but Wattman is not active in Windows.
When I read this version (105) with MPT there is no check mark.

How can I unlock the bios?

I can upload the original bios file here if you want.

It does about 50 MH/s
But this is still STOCK

I would like to overclock it better so it is important to me it must be all unlocked.
I am aware of the risk.

Are my steps I have listed above correct to unlock an original BIOS? (my post above you)

Thanks :) Stone
That's my version, locked.

Mini_me unlock 102 version is this: https://www.igorslab.de/community/attachments/m-amd-w5700-v49-rom.11302

It's linked above on Mini_me post. Level_free user got 55MH/s with that version.

I also have 50MH/s @ 109W stock. Is you stock BIOS also 105?

Ok thanks for the info

I have obviously 105 BIOS

However when I want to install the Mini_me unlock 102 BIOS I get an ERROR.
(see screenshot)

Is it not possible to flash one from 105 to 102 ?

Or is still an additional UNLOCK necessary?
With the command = amdvbflash -unlockrom 0
?

How can I fix the problem ?

Thanks for the help - Stone

Hi
I created a new one 105

But i can't Flash the ROM

FLASH File = Radeon_W5700_MOD_105_by_stone.rom

I have started the unlock with the command

amdvbflash -unlockrom 0

command.
Is that not possible ?

Thought with it the ROM is then unlocked.

Thanks for the info

Here the unlocked 105 version however not optimized in the kindly attached link below.
Thank you so much! I can report that it flashed successfully through HiveOS, but rig is remote and I can't reboot it right away, so I will be back in a few hours.

stone1978 - Is your GPU memory Micron? Since BIOS was successfully written to my GPU, maybe there is some difference ...

Please download the amdvbflash v2.93+ in the kindly attached link below,

Then follow the guide below,

For flashing you can follow the method below,

- By Windows,
I. Extract the downloaded amdvbflash Tool and put it with the vbios file in a folder inside drive C,

II. Boot to windows safe mode,

III. Run as an administrator the CMD (Command Prompt) and navigate to amdvbflash folder using

cd "copy and paste folder path when you are inside the folder, for e.g., C:/293plus"

and flash the vbios following the commands below by using amdvbflash:

amdvbflash.exe -i
Press Enter

It will show you the gpu adapters list occupying the pcie slots for an example if there is only one gpu then its adapter number will be 0.
###########

amdvbflash.exe -unlockrom 0
Press Enter

It will unlock the gpu for flashing if it is locked.
###########

amdvbflash.exe -p 0 BiosName.ROM
Press Enter

To flash the bios, to force flash put
-f before 0,

IV. Wait for the update to finish and reboot.

Good morning

Well, I have already been able to flash from 102 to 105.

That was this version

There is MICRON in the file name yes

Where can I read the memory manufacturer in GPU-Z I can not find?

GPU-Z Screenshot from my w5700

I just have to solve the problem how to flash the bios first

Have of course used the version 293plus.

I think I must first find out which memory manufacturer I have.

Thanks for the help :)

Hi
Thanks I will try this when I know what memory type the graphics card has.

I would like to clarify this beforehand. What tool can I use to determine the memory manufacturer?

Here is the ORIGINAL STOCK BIOS of the w5700 that I saved before the first flash.

Thanks Stone
